Our seedstock sales are private treaty.

Thanks to everyone who has purchased purebred Tarentaise cattle from Ankenman Ranch this year.

We fulfilled a request to brand this load of heifers before delivery.  No problem.

3. To Market, To Market

Video Auction, Internet Auction, Traditional Market?

We have tried them all.  Last week, we took a pot load of steers to the Joplin Regional Stockyards.

4. Trusted Steed

We continue to use horses to gather and work all our cattle.

Horses are not only a tradition at our place, but allow us to be consistent, quiet and confident in each gather.

5.  A Sign of the Times

Buyers are here...  two big trailers...

Cattle are in the corrals...

Lightning has struck our electric pole...

Hydraulic chute looks impressive, just doesn't work without electricity.

Call for an electrician on the cell phone.
